Psychotherapist in Private Practice - W-2 (Fully Licensed)

 

About FFW:

Feelings Forward Wellness is a private group practice that provides holistic treatment for trauma that supports the healing of mind, body, spirit, and community. Through offerings of trauma psychotherapy, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and somatic healing, FFW aims to provide effective and culturally-responsive mental health treatment for those continuing to struggle with the after-effects of trauma and PTSD. 

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate therapist to join our team! You will play a crucial role in providing trauma-informed therapy to those who seek support, healing, and growth. You will be considered a W-2 employee of our growing team. We provide a vibrant and collaborative work environment, access to referrals, an electronic health record system, billing support, insurance credentialing, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, and access to peer expertise and clinical supervision. These offerings are all aimed at ensuring your success and personal growth. Our therapists see insurance, out-of-network, and self-pay clients.

 

Experience in and dedication to being trauma-informed is required. More in-depth trauma therapy training is preferred. All roles are 100% fully remote, allowing you to set your own schedule and take time off at your discretion. We do not enforce non-compete agreements with our clinicians. Should you decide to depart from our practice at any point, we are committed to fully supporting your transition and that of any clients who wish to continue working with you.

 

Key Responsibilities:​

  • Maintain at least 12 complete appointments a week (group, individual, couple's sessions)

  • Offer compassionate, trauma-informed therapy that seeks to empower clients.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans.

  • Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients.

  • Manage your own caseload and schedule.

  • Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to client care.

  • Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation within 24 hours of the session.

  • Attend biweekly, clinical supervision with the team.

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in trauma therapy and holistic healing practices through professional development and training. A yearly training stipend is provided.

  • Market and advertise services to prospective clients.

Therapist

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

  • NJ State licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCAT in good standing.

  • Specialized training and certification in trauma therapy and holistic modalities are preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with adults utilizing trauma-based therapeutic modalities (EMDR, IFS, SE, CPT, PE, Brainspotting, etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to social justice in practice.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Organizational and time management skills in order to meet timely documentation requirements.

 

Benefits:

  • Percentage-based fee split of each session for Tier 1 Part time: $60-$105 per session. Session fee is dependent on insurance reimbursement vs. self-pay.

  • Peer-based and clinical support

  • Medical/Health Insurance stipend of $200 a month

  • Flexible Schedule

  • Paid admin time (3 hours a week $20/hr)

  • Paid Time Off (10 days/year)

  • Yearly training stipend of $500 a year

  • Free EHR and billing electronic systems (TherapyPortal and Headway subscription provided)

  • Fully remote work
