KELLY PATEL, LCSW

Founder | Therapist

Hello! I'm Kelly. First and foremost, thank you for being here. I know of the incredible strength it takes to look for a therapist. As a trauma survivor myself, I know how important it is to feel like you can relate to and feel safe with your therapist. I look forward to being that person for you.

What you can expect by starting your healing journey with me is a therapist who is down-to-earth, collaborative, understanding, and passionate about helping you towards your goals. I specialize in holistic therapy for trauma survivors; especially those who have experienced childhood neglect. I offer individualized trauma therapy that can include EMDR, IFS, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and Yoga Therapy. Each of these modalities can help you to explore your past and gain insight into how trauma shows up in your daily life, learn solutions to feel safe and secure again, unlearn patterns of mistrust, hypervigilance, and negativity that no longer serve you, and regain confidence, self-worth, and the ability to put yourself first.

Outside of therapy, you can find me binge-watching the newest Netflix series, cuddling with my puppy, or traveling to faraway places. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and work from antiracist values. As a White, cis therapist, I seek to receive consultation from BIPOC and queer clinicians to improve my efficacy within my therapy practice. I am committed to understanding my own location of self and privileged identities in order to continue doing the necessary work.

Feel free to book a free consult with me to learn more about how we can work together towards your goals.

Hi, I’m Brianna! Thank you for taking the time to be here. It’s no small feat to start looking for a therapist and I want to honor the courage that takes. My approach is grounded in compassion, empathy, and acceptance. I know how important it is to feel truly seen, safe, and understood in the therapy room and that’s the kind of space I strive to create.

I specialize in supporting adults who are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, stress, and healing from trauma, including domestic and sexual violence. I have a special focus on women’s issues and the LGBTQIA+ community. I am trained in EMDR as one of the ways I support trauma recovery. My work is collaborative and individualized; I meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you explore your story, release what no longer serves you, and step into a place of greater self-worth, safety, and connection.

I work from an inclusive, affirming lens and am deeply committed to providing therapy that is both welcoming and responsive to the diverse experiences people bring into the room.

Therapist

Hello! I'm so glad you're here. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you've spent so much of your life carrying difficult experiences on your own. I believe healing begins with having a space where you feel safe, accepted, and genuinely understood. My goal is to create that space for you; one where you don't have to hide parts of yourself or face life's challenges alone.

I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply rooted in understanding what happened to you, not just treating the symptoms you're experiencing today. I believe our past shapes how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. Together we'll gently explore those experiences to help you better understand your patterns and create lasting change. I am trained in EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). These approaches allow me to tailor treatment to your unique needs while helping you feel more connected and empowered in your daily life.

Before joining Feelings Forward Wellness, I spent many years working at a domestic and sexual violence agency, supporting survivors through some of life's most painful and complex experiences. That work deepened my belief in the incredible resilience people carry, even when they struggle to see it themselves. I strive to meet every client with empathy and curiosity. I strive to honor your story while helping you reconnect with your strengths and move toward the life you want to build.

I would love the opportunity to connect with you! Feel free to schedule a free consultation to see if we're a good fit and learn how we can work together toward your healing.
