Hello! I'm Kelly. First and foremost, thank you for being here. I know of the incredible strength it takes to look for a therapist. As a trauma survivor myself, I know how important it is to feel like you can relate to and feel safe with your therapist. I look forward to being that person for you.

What you can expect by starting your healing journey with me is a therapist who is down-to-earth, collaborative, understanding, and passionate about helping you towards your goals. I specialize in holistic therapy for trauma survivors; especially those who have experienced childhood neglect. I offer individualized trauma therapy that can include EMDR, IFS, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and Yoga Therapy. Each of these modalities can help you to explore your past and gain insight into how trauma shows up in your daily life, learn solutions to feel safe and secure again, unlearn patterns of mistrust, hypervigilance, and negativity that no longer serve you, and regain confidence, self-worth, and the ability to put yourself first.

Outside of therapy, you can find me binge-watching the newest Netflix series, cuddling with my puppy, running races, or traveling to faraway places. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and work from antiracist values. As a White, cis therapist, I seek to receive consultation from BIPOC and queer clinicians to improve my efficacy within my therapy practice. I am committed to understanding my own location of self and privileged identities in order to continue doing the necessary work.

Feel free to book a free 15 minute consult with me to learn more about how we can work together towards your goals.

Hi, I’m Maranice! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with comprehensive training in working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, and personality disorders. My specialties include working with survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, and other violent crimes. I began my career in 2011 working with first generation college students, veterans, and students with disabilities. By 2015 I discovered my passion for working with adults that want to improve their quality of life by addressing their mental health needs.

Stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and past traumas can cause a person to feel overwhelmed and even helpless. It can become difficult to manage school, a career, family obligations, and even attempting to keep a healthy social life- but I believe that regardless of what you’re dealing with or how long you have been trying to manage it all, asking for help is admirable and takes great strength. I believe in the benefits of therapy and I embrace a positive and holistic approach within the therapeutic process. I utilize person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, and gestalt orientations within therapy.

As you and I work together, we'll use the resources and strengths that you bring to the table in combination with appropriate, evidenced-based interventions to help you reach your goals. I take on the role of not only a therapist, but also as an advocate in helping you become the best version of YOU.
